Aalto University has a common price list from April 1, 2011 that is in valid in all campus libraries.

 

1. Local services

Borrowing and reservation of materials is free of charge.

Charges for late return per volume per day:

  • Textbooks

  • Other books
 € 0.30 (max. € 9.90 per item)
  • Overnight and short-term € 1.00 per hour

 € 1.00 per hour after the first hour of opening

 € 0.05 (max. € 9.90 each)

2. Inter-library loan service

  • The inter-library loan service is free of charge to Aalto University staff.
  • Express-service additional charge from Finland € 10 and from abroad € 15
  • Students pay for material when they collect it from the library.
  • Students collect and borrow the materials they need from libraries in the Helsinki area on their own.
  • Other material is charged according to the costs arising.
