Majority of the materials provided by the Learning Centre are electronic resources. Before using, please read the conditions of use. The e-resources include reference databases, image databases, e-journals, e-books, reference works, dictionaries, statistics and standards.

You can use the resources with your own devices and various internet connections with Aalto login:

Customers not affiliated with Aalto University can access the resources on the learning centre computers.

Union catalogues of Finnish libraries 

 

Union Catalogue of Finnish Libraries: Melinda

Melinda is the union catalogue of Finnish Libraries, including university libraries, libraries of universities of applied sciences, and some special and public libraries. Melinda is openly accessible online.

Availability information is included with search results. Is a resource is available from some other library instead of the Learning Centre you can order it as a interlibrary loan.

 

National Repository Library

Resources of Repository Library are included in Aalto-Finna search results. You can search from the collections of Repository Library alone via Vaari database.

Aalto University students and staff can order books and article copies free of charge from the National Repository Library via Aalto-Finna. Orders usually arrive in a few working days.

The National Repository Library is a resource shared by all Finnish libraries and information service centres.
